I'm the founder and owner of Forever October, and your lead photographer! When you hire Forever October, I'm who you'll talk to during your consultation, answer all the questions in-between, and will be the person who shows up on your wedding day to do the work I adore! I'm Alexa's wife, Adeline's mom, storyteller, history lover, poetry-writer, adventurer, always fancying a cuppa coffee, Twilight Saga nerd, student of life, and genuinely passionate about preserving memories and moments through photos. I love to create a gallery that isn't just "full" in terms of quantity of pictures, but also in a sense that the people behind the lens are experiencing connected moments, with themselves, their family, friends, and partner. I'm so happy you're here, and I am really excited about being able to work with you to tell your love story, to help you plan your elopement or intimate wedding, and fully show your love through photos!

I'm Bailey's wife, mom, adventurer, Enneagram type 8, Second Shooter, Drone Pilot, and Content Creator! My area of expertise is found in unique detail shots, drone footage, and capturing authentic moments! You can often find me making lists and tasking, drinking my coffee black, listening to music, and planning our next adventure! I love hiking, being out in nature, swimming in the ocean, traveling, and shopping on Amazon (LOL)! When I'm not home, traveling, or working your wedding, I'm an Emergency Room RN, and on your wedding day, I'll use my a calm approach that'll keep you feeling stress-free, and laughing. I'd say that I'm best at using my eye for creative detail, my steady hand, & quick thinking to document your day authentically.
The story behind the name.
October is undoubtedly my favorite month of the year. It represents a change in season, the turning of leaves, the end of summer heat, and the love and life that I'm so lucky to share with my incredible wife, Alexa. Our love story, from my eyes, is one for the ages. It's one that, years ago, began in October, and when we said our "I Do's". It signifies my favorite things about life, about my wife, our daughter, our family, and our many adventures.
And so the name of this lovely company is also a wish for and a promise to always strive toward a Forever October state of mind.

We carry a deep respect for the American freedoms that allow each of us to choose our lives, our voices, and the person we stand beside. The ability to marry, to celebrate openly, and to be surrounded by community is something we hold with genuine gratitude, AND it’s a privilege we never take for granted.
This isn’t a philosophical OR political statement as a business, but a reflection of who we are in our own lives. We are drawn to what is real; real moments, real emotion, being good neighbors, healing division with compassion, and real people navigating life and loving each other through the ups and downs.
This is why our work is best suited for couples who value presence, emotion, and authenticity in their photos, those who want their love documented honestly, artfully, and without apology.
Our photography style is best described as "true to color"; this means that environment AND natural lighting are the biggest contributor to our artistic approach on your wedding day. Our work cannot be described as "bright and airy" OR "dark and moody". We're moody, but not quite dark. Airy, but not quite bright. If you find the label that fits this, we'd love to hear it; until then, we will say 'true to color' & 'true to moment'.
